Chrystal and David McChesney of Lawrenceburg announce the birth of their daughter, Scarlett Marie McChesney, on July 15, 2010 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort.

She weighed 7 pounds and was 19 inches long.

She was welcomed home by a brother, Logan, 10.

Her maternal grandparents are Steve and Brenda Hall of Frankfort.

Her paternal grandparents are Patsy McChesney and the late Edward McChesney of Frankfort. 

Jean and Billy Ray Buffo of Lawrenceburg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 27.

The couple was married on Aug. 27, 1960 by the Rev. Goodpasteur at a Presbyterian church in Gary, Ind.

Mrs. Buffo, the former Jean Aeschliman, is a daughter of the late Melvin and Zella Aeschliman.

She is retired.

Mr. Buffo is a son of the late Bill and Elizabeth Buffo.

He is retired from the U.S. Steel Corp. and Sears Roebuck and Company of Gary, Ind.

The Buffos have two children, Terry Buffo and Kris Bustin, both of Lawrenceburg.

Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Barker and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lewis of Lawrenceburg announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Heather Nicole Barker and Matthew Bennett Lewis.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Anderson County High School and a 2009 graduate of Morehead State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She plans to attend the University of Kentucky beginning this fall to receive a doctorate degree in nursing practice.

She is currently employed as an RN at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Harry E. and Annell B. Adair of Versailles, formerly of Lexington, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 18

The couple was married Aug. 18, 1950 at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Baxter, in Anderson County by the Rev. Reed Carter

The Adairs have two children, Woody Adair and his wife, Debbie, of Danville, Ind. and Julie Barnett and her husband, Kenny, of Lawrenceburg.

Randi Whittaker and Kenneth Layne Brown of Frankfort announce the birth of their son, Clint Matthew Brown, on July 14, 2010 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort.

He was 6 pounds, 14 1/2 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

He was welcomed home by a brother, Caleb Brown, 7.

His maternal grandparents are Rhonda Click of Lawrenceburg and Billy Whittaker of Burgin. 

Amanda and Brandon Brown of Lawrenceburg announce the birth of their son, Jacob Hunter Brown, on July 16, 2010 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort.

He weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Kerry and Barbie Markwell of Lawrenceburg. His maternal great-grandparents are Walter and Alpha Harley of Lawrenceburg.

His paternal grandparents are Mark and Rhonda Brown of Lawrenceburg. His paternal great-grandparents are Bill and Nancy Brown and Brenda Wilhoite, all of Lawrenceburg. 

Melony and Troy Stephenson of Frankfort announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica Carol Collins, to Justin Lee Peach, son of Ellie and Roger Peach of Frankfort.

The bride-to-be is a granddaughter of Janet and Steve Skelton and Judy and Jerry Stephenson, all of Frankfort, and Missy and Danny Collins of Lawrenceburg.

She is a 2008 graduate of Western Hills High School and is employed at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center and the law office of Christopher M. Hill and Associates.

The bride-to-be is a granddaughter of Ralph and Joyce Pierce of Leitchfield.

She is a 2006 graduate of Anderson County High School and a 2008 graduate of Sullivan University where she earned a degree as a professional nanny.

She is currently employed as a professional nanny in Lexington.

The bride-to-be is a granddaughter of Gene and Jean Morrell and Clifford and Bonnie Royalty, all of Lawrenceburg.

She is a 2008 graduate of Anderson County High School and is currently attending the University of Kentucky, where she is expected to graduate in 2012 with a degree in kinesiology and health promotion.
