LEXINGTON – Anderson County was reminded again just how difficult it is to be able to qualify for the state track and field meet last Friday.

Despite having six performers turn in personal bests in seven different events, only two Bearcats were able to advance out of the Class AAA, Region 6 meet.

And long jumper Tiffany Yount and pole vaulter Cameron Robinson had to sweat it out before confirming that they will be in action at the state, to be held on Saturday at the University of Louisville.
