There were no fake pickoff moves. None of those trademark suicide squeeze plays.
But there was quite a bit of baseball fun for Anderson County High School coach L.W. Barnes and his staff as they coached the West junior team in the annual East-West affair at the University of Louisville last Tuesday.
“We were fortunate enough to split the double-header,” Barnes said. “We lost the first game, 7-5 and won the second, 7-3.”
