LOUISVILLE – Before he could entertain any question, L.W. Barnes sported a look that combined the frustration and shock of the high school baseball season abruptly ending.
“This was a tough one,” the Anderson County coach said moments after Louisville Trinity had held on for an 8-5 win in game two of the Semi-state 4 series at Eastern High School. Trinity clinched the series, 2-0, to move on to the state tournament at Lexington's Applebee's Park next week.
Tough might not do justice to the way Anderson went down.
