It might have not completely sunk in, but Erin Drury hit the big time last week.
Drury, who will graduate from Anderson County High School Thursday night, learned on May 16 that she had made the cut to become a cheerleader for the Eastern Kentucky Colonels next year.
Drury made the team of 22 girls and three boys after tryouts at the Richmond campus.
There were no major announcements, not even a phone call. “I found out about it online,” Drury said with a smile.
