A Lawrenceburg woman is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the return of her family dog.

Bo, a black and white Australian shepherd, has been missing for about four weeks, according to Lexan Overby, the woman offering the reward.

Overby said the dog has one white ear with black spots, has white on his nose and does not have a tail.

She said he is “very sweet and will come for a tennis ball or Frisbee.

She said he was possibly seen in the Twelve Oaks and Tara Way areas off Carlton Drive.

She said she’s had the dog since he was a pup.

“Honestly, he was the first dog that was my own,” Overby said. “We’ve had other dogs before, but he was my dog. He followed me everywhere. It has been terrible since he’s been gone.”

Overby said she has placed flyers around town, which have generated some phone calls. She said that encouraged her to continue trying to find him.

She said she has already checked with the animal shelter here and in Frankfort.

Anyone with information is asked to call Overby at 502-604-3672.
