According to an Anderson County Sheriff's Office press release, a white male, wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and a black ski mask covering his face, entered the Parkway Marathon and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect was armed with a small caliber revolver.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect exited the front door and fled south on US127 in a late 90's model blue or dark green Jeep Grand Cherokee.
