Harry Truman’s philosophy seems to be missing in Louisville case

By John Herndon

I wonder what Harry Truman would have thought about that press conference the University of Louisville held last week.

You know, the one after the NCAA announced its verdict on the stripper scandal.

For those who think anything that went on before ESPN is ancient history, Truman was the 33rd President of the United States. He approved the use of the atomic bomb to end World War II and fired Gen. Douglas McArthur in Korea.

And whether he was praised or pounded in the press, the buck stopped with him.
