Music at Evergreen Baptist
Musical group Brian Free and Assurance will perform Tuesday, July 5 at Evergreen Baptist Church.
The performance is scheduled for 7 p.m. The church is located on Evergreen Road in Franklin County.
Freedom Baptist
Not only is the 4th of July the birthday of our nation, but it was also on this day that Freedom Baptist church was established, church officials said.
Come help celebrate July 2, with activities beginning at 2 p.m. There will be inflatables for the kids, corn hole, a watermelon eating contest and homemade ice cream. There will be a desert contest, with categories for most patriotic desert, best child-prepared desert, and best overall taste.
Entries must be entered by 5 p.m.
All veterans in attendance will be recognized and their service will be remembered by a special presentation. The festivities will conclude with a fireworks display.
A deposit area will be available for can goods or other non-perishable food item donations.

Open Bible  hosts 4th celebration
Open Bible Church will host a Fourth of July celebration at noon on July 3. The festivities, which include free hot dogs and hamburgers, inflatables, clowns, music, games and prizes, a dunk tank and fireworks, will begin after the 11 a.m. service. Open Bible Church is located at 1830 Old Frankfort Road.

Band at Sand Spring
Adam’s Road, a Christian band and ministry, will perform at Sand Spring Baptist Church on July 3 at the 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. services.
The group will also share testimonies and songs during the 7 p.m. service. Everyone who attends the evening service will receive a free Adam’s Road CD.

Westside plans events
Westside Community Church celebrated dads June 19, with the youngest dad being Carl Bell, the oldest dad was Gene Young and the father with the most children present was James Jarrell, according to a news release.In July Healing Day at Westside will be held every Monday night from 5-6 p.m.
Bible study will be held every Wednesday night at Westside starting at 6:30. Everyone in the public is invited.
Westside church will be going to the Creation Museum on July 9. Bro. Gene Young will speak July 10 and July 24 at 6 p.m.
On July 17 the special guest singer will be Tony Gray during the 11 a.m. service with a potluck to follow.
On July 19 Westside will visit the seniors at Heritage Hall at 7 p.m.
On July 23 the senior youth at Westside will be going to Sunset Hill to visit the residents. They will be passing out snacks and other items to the residents.
The LIFT-Ladies in Faith Together group will be meeting on July 24 at 4 p.m. There will be a special baptism on July 31 after the Sunday morning service.
