COLLEGE FOOTBALL ROUNDUP: Russell bests own record

Anderson County High School graduate Jacob Russell broke his own school record as he passed for 426 yards to lead Campbellsville University to a 42-34 Mid-South Conference win over Pikeville Saturday afternoon in Campbellsville.

Russell connected on 29-of-42 passes with two interceptions. He threw for four touchdowns, the longest being a 54-yard strike to Tyus Alcorn. Russell also ran for 42 yards and a score.

Campbellsville improved to 4-2 on the year.
