Anderson County High School softball player Bailey Curry has been named to the Kentucky All-Star team for the annual 3-game summertime series against the Tennessee All-Stars. This year’s matchup will be held Friday and Saturday, June 23-24, at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.

Curry was named to the Kentucky team after the East-West All-Star series last weekend at the University of the Cumberlands. The Kentucky-Tennessee series matches the best seniors from each state.

Curry, who has signed with the University of Toledo, is the state’s career home run leader with 75. She becomes the third Anderson player named to the team, joining Courtney Turpin, who was selected in 2010, and Mia Aldridge, who was on last year’s team.
