High profile cases distort reality that most kids just want to play

What might have been a sign of the times we live in was making the headlines recently.

In case you missed it, Mike Harmon, the father of Zion Harmon, who just completed his freshman season at Adair County High School and one of the nation’s top basketball prospects in the Class of 2021, announced that his son was looking at transferring to another school in Kentucky for his sophomore year. He named several schools as being on the list.

As an eighth-grader, Harmon was a major factor in Bowling Green’s first state championship.
