Perry enjoys surprise 90th birthday celebration

E. Paul Perry, of Lwrenceburg, was surprised by family during a celebration for his 90th birthday.

Born June 8, 1924, Paul is a native of Anderson County and was raised on Indian Creek in the Birdie and Corinth communities. His eight grades of education were at Anderson City School.

In WWII he did naval basic training in Great Lakes, Illinois. After discharge, he worked in the dye department for Dean-Sherk Thread Factory in Lawrenceburg. Here he met Mary Lucille Hatchett and they were wed April 27, 1946.
