North Oldham ace threw no-hitter last time out

By John Herndon

The Anderson County baseball team will open defense of its Eighth Region championship Monday, May 25 when the Bearcats play North Oldham in the tournament opener at Shelby County.

If Anderson is able to win three games this week, the Bearcats will accomplish something no team, in any single-class sport, has ever done in the 60-year history of the school. No team has ever repeated as regional champion.
