Students named to Campbellsville University dean’s list
Morgan Marie Cubert, a senior, Courtney Michelle Drury, a senior, and Jeffrey Tyler Harrod, a freshman, all of Lawrenceburg, have been named to Campbellsville University’s Dean’s List for fall 2014, according to a news release.
The list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or above for the semester with a course load of at least 12 hours, according to a news release.

A local author will hold a book signing Jan. 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Antiques, Uniques & Metaphysics, located at 700 West Broadway No. 3 in Lawrenceburg, across from Dairy Queen, the store announced.
Don Giles, a professor of philosophy and religion at St. Catharine College, recently released a book titled “The The Shao Lin Chronicles: The Wisdom of Bodhidharma,” according to the release.
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 34 members attended the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Gala on Dec. 6 where it received the inaugural award for Community Organization of the Year, according to a news release.
Unit President Pam Brough is also president of the chamber. Member Rhonda Cotton is also a chamber board member.
