    He was a son of the late John & Virginia Warder Cook and was preceded in death by his wives, Secelia Warfield McCoy and Priscilla Brown McCoy.

    Robert G. “Bob” Carrier, 74, of Frankfort passed away on Saturday April 9, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Care.  
    Bob was born March 17, 1937 in Anderson County.  He was the son of the late Roy Cecil and Ruby Hayden Carrier.

    She is the widow of Blakemore McBrayer and was born Nov. 6, 1913 in Spencer County to the late Charles and Fannie Simpson Driskell.

     She was born in Closplint, Ky. to the late Ernest and Ann Selvey Hobgood McDaniel. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Evarts High School.

    Justus Kenny Walker, 74, of Lawrenceburg, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Heritage Hall Health Care Center.
     He was a son of the late Justus Davis Walker and Beatrice Gravitt Walker.   
     Funeral services were Monday at Gash Memorial Chapel.  Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery in Lexington.

    Angela Tindall Haydon, 46, of Monterey, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the St. Joseph Hospice Unit in Lexington.
    She was a daughter of the late Gene Tindall.
    She is survived by her husband, Bradley Haydon; her sons, Bradley Jr. and Andrew Haydon; a daughter, Allison Haydon Craigmyle; her mother, Shirley Hedges Tindall.
    McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.    Funeral services were held on Monday at McDonald & New Funeral Home. Burial was in the Monterey Cemetery.

    Stella Jean Caldwell Hawkins, 71, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at her residence.  She was born in Anderson County, daughter of the late Dora Smith and Charles Newton Caldwell.
    She worked as a dairy farmer and was a member of the Fox Creek Christian Church.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, and puzzles.

  • Ethel Rebecca Day Griffith, 86

    Ethel Rebecca Day Griffith, 86, of Lawrenceburg formerly of Georgetown, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee Griffith and her daughter Novella Kaye Griffith.
    She was born June 25, 1924, in Wise County, Va., daughter of the late John and Mattie Morgan Day. She was a member of the Anderson County Senior Citizens, former member of the Scott County Senior Citizens and a huge U.K. basketball fan.
