  • Waford graduates from EKU with honors

    Katherine Waford, daughter of Ed and Dana Froste and William Waford, graduated magna cum laude from Eastern Kentucky University Sat., May 10. She received a degree in middle grades education.

    Katherine is a 2011 Anderson County High School graduate and has maintained a position on the President’s List and Dean’s List with a 3.9 grade point average.

    Mrs. Claude Perry reported in the Glensboro News that Mr. and Mrs. Paul Husband and daughter, and Emma Perry of Shelbyville visited Mr. and Mrs. Dell Thurman and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Perry Sunday.

    Mr. and Mrs. James Gordon Catlett and children of Lawrenceburg were Sunday dinner guest of Mrs. Ellen Catlett.

    Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Will Brown and son of Alton visited Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Sutherland Monday afternoon.

    Bryan and Mary Beth Shouse of Lawrenceburg announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Katelyn Elizabeth Shouse, to Aaron Morgan Graves, son of Larry and Bobbi Graves of Lawrenceburg.

    The bride-to-be is a 2009 Anderson County High School graduate and a 2013 Transylvania University graduate. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with the University of Kentucky.

  • Audrey Lynn Adams

    Heather and Randy Adams of Lawrenceburg announce the birth of their daughter, Audrey Lynn Adams, on Nov. 27, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

    She weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.

    Her maternal grandparents are Bobby and Betty Montgomery of Lawrenceburg.

    Her maternal great-grandparents are Deverl Burns and the late Clyde Burns and Robert Montgomery and the late Virginia Perkins.

    Her paternal grandparents are Adams and the late Ronald Adams of Loretto, Ky.
