Kentucky 45, South Carolina 38
The Wildcats got their first big win of the Mark Stoops era, twice rallying from 14 points down to shock South Carolina, 45-38, Saturday night in Lexington. Bud Dupree hauled in a batted pass and returned it 6 yards for the winning touchdown with 2:29 to play.
Anderson County High School graduate Ross Cox, who grew up a Wildcat fan and says he stormed the field several times after big wins, got to live the experience as a player. Cox is a walk-on tight end for the Wildcats.
