The Creative School located in Lawrenceburg works to create an environment that allows Early Childhood Education to be reimagined.

The team at The Creative School believe their role is to nurture the goodness, curiosity, confidence, competence, ingenuity, creativity, and love that already exists within a child.

TCS’ mission is to implement a global approach to early childhood education while allowing the child to have a voice in their education.

This year, on Saturday, April 13, The Creative School is hosting their 2nd annual Earth Day Gala, an event dedicated to fundraising for student tuition assistance.

“We are proud that 100% of our students receive tuition assistance! At TCS, we work to passionately provide the type of education every child deserves by creating a student-centered, nurturing environment that is designed to spark curiosity and a lifelong love for the process of learning,” stated TCS founders Emily Hatfield and Kaitlyn Shewmaker, “Providing this transformative education is a collective effort. This is why we’re reaching out to you, our local community, for support.”

Attendees will enjoy live music by Matt Castle, catered dinner and bar, and a silent auction. Proceeds from tickets, silent auction and monetary donations will directly benefit tuition assistance for all students of The Creative School.

Hatfield added that with the community coming together to help raise their goal of $35,000, they can ensure that every child has access to the individualized education they deserve.

She added any support in achieving their goal will make a long-lasting world of difference in the lives of their students and their families.

“We believe every child deserves equal access to a bright future, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Yet, the reality is that private schools often create a divide, with only some children benefiting from opportunities that remain out of reach for others. At The Creative School, it is our mission to level the playing field,” stated Hatfield.

The Creative School is asking people to consider donating to their silent auction or becoming a monetary sponsor for their Earth Day Gala, to help cultivate the Creative Difference and change the landscape of education by building a brighter future for all children.
